UNIBEN Ranked No 1 And 31st in Africa

Wow check this out. What happened to Unilag by the way? According to the Webometrics Ranking of World Universities carried out in July, the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has been placed first in Nigeria and 31st in Africa.

The ranking was contained in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of UNIBEN, Mr Harris Osarenre, and made available on Saturday in Benin.

The statement said that the Federal Polytechnic, Auchi, came second while the University of Ibadan came third in the ranking.

It was also said that UNIBEN took the lead in the Webometrics ranking in January this year.
