Partial closure of 3rd Mainland Bridge suspended

The Lagos State Commissioner for Transport has announced the temporary suspension of the closure of Third Mainland Bridge (the longest bridge in West Africa), which was scheduled for, Sunday, July 1, 2012.

He said the Federal Ministry of Works is not ready to commence the repair works and will let Lagosians know when all issues have been resolved.
