2012 Lagos Carnival to hold on April 9

The 2012 edition of the annual Lagos Carnival celebration tagged “Eko 4 show” has been slated for Easter Monday, April 9. This year’s edition will have 12000 beautifully costumed performers (young and old) parading the streets of Ikoyi, Lagos Island and finally Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS) where they will be welcomed by the Lagos State governor and other dignitaries. The annual Lagos carnival which usually tuns out as a carnival of many colors, is designed to showcase tourism potentials of Lagos during the Easter Holiday and to put the state on the World tourism calendar.
